Lighting for Outdoor Pedestrian Spaces: Meet the New IES LP-2 Lighting Practice Document

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Feedback form is now closed.
There’s a new IES Lighting Practice document in town, with art, appearance, environment, reassurance, and comfort in its soul. This workshop will take you through the design recommendations that are unique to pedestrian areas in parks, civic squares, along waterways, in plazas, restaurants, areas around sports fields, and sculpture gardens. Focal points, color, safety, visibility of others, consideration for critters, minimizing intrusive light and skyglow… all these issues are covered in a practical yet poetic way. The members of the committee will guide you through the recommendations, illustrative photos, and supportive tables.
