Lighting controls are often used on projects and required by many energy codes. With the shift to LEDs, lighting controls may not be as cost effective as in the past. However, because the lighting controls are often on the project, they can be integrated with other building systems. By integrating the lighting controls with other buildings systems a synergy occur where energy and cost savings can increase beyond the what was achieved with lighting. The of lighting controls with other building systems can help make the lighting controls be more cost effective.
